Troubleshooting Email Invitations

Learn what to do if students aren't receiving onboarding or course invitation emails.

The Issue

You've invited students to join Sagepost or a specific course, but they haven't received the invitation email.

The Solution

The most common reason for this is that your university or school's spam filters are blocking the emails. These systems are often very strict and might flag our automated emails as spam.

The best way to fix this is to contact your IT department. Ask them to "allowlist" or "safelist" all emails coming from @sagepost.ai. This ensures our messages will always get through to your students.

As a temporary quick fix, you can also try using a different email address for the student, such as a personal one (e.g., an @gmail.com account), as these often have less restrictive spam filters.
