Joining a Course

A student can join a course on Sagepost in one of two ways: through an email invitation or through an invitation link.

If the instructor sends an email, the invitation will look similar to the example shown. The student simply clicks “Accept,” creates a Sagepost account if necessary, and is then ready to access the course.

Course Files

Students can access the course files under the “Files” section, where they may choose to either view or download them.

Please Note:

• The instructor may use additional, non-visible files to assist with generating AI answers. These files are not accessible to the student.
• The inclusion of a publicly visible file in the AI knowledge base is at the discretion of the instructor.

Anonymous Mode

To enable a pseudonym visible to other students, the student can enable “Anonymous mode” by navigating to Settings → Account → Profile.

Please Note: The pseudonym is visible only to other students, not to the instructor or platform administrators.

Email Settings

The student can change their preferences for email notification frequency by going to Settings → Account → Notifications.

The default setting is real-time notifications. However, the student can also:

• Reduce the email frequency to a weekly summary.
• Turn off all email notifications.
